Issue description

Chrome Version       : 52.0.2743.116m
URLs (if applicable) :
OS version               :  windows 10 Enterprise
Network (such as Cable/DSL/Dial up etc): localhost Cable
Audio/Video format (if applicable): mp3
Special chrome flags (if applicable):

Behavior in Safari (if known):
Behavior in Firefox (if known):

Video issue, Audio issue, both, neither? Only Audio issue.

<b>Flash or HTML5?  <right-clicking most players will either reveal some text</b>
with “Flash”; otherwise likely HTML5> : 

HTML5 audio tag problem.

If the browser or renderer crashed (“Aw, Snap”), please add any crash
IDs from chrome://crashes  (possibly after enabling crash reporting per
http://support.google.com/chrome/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=96817)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When i run my application it starts without any errors from console and it plays sounds very well and then
i'm waiting for a while and switching to other tabs on chrome, Audio object doesn't play anymore and when i was trying to call play method of the same object manually from the console, it doesn't work and return promise object's state as in screenshot.


What is the expected result?
playing a paused sound.

What is the actual result?
it doesn't work and no sound can play

Any additional information (anything else which may help us debug the
issue)?

Tested this issue on Mac OS 10.11.6 using chrome latest stable M52-52.0.2743.116 by following steps mentioned below.

1. Played youtube video
2. Switched to different tabs
3. Observed audio is playing fine
 
berksarmasik@ - Could you please let us know are you seeing this issue across all webpages or specific to some? If yes, please provide a  sample test case to test this issue from Chrome-TE end.

i'm sending an example product and a video file captured by me while i seen this problem. it's doesn't work while waiting a while in other tabs or pages.
it's worked again when i restart page also if it's crashed, give an promise dom exception error on console log. you can see on attached video too.

problem os is windows 10 enterprise edition. i don't know how is working on mac os

I don't have windows 10 to verify. brajkumar@, do you have one to check?

yes i used audio.play() to resume playing but failed.
its attached on sco1.rar datalevelhtml is default html file. 
Any thing can i help for this issue?
