Select droupdown area becomes white or black at times

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/51.0.2704.79 Chrome/51.0.2704.79 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. create a select dropdown with few options.
2. just keep clicking on select.
3. you will see white screen is case of Linux and black screen in case of windows

What is the expected behavior?
Select dropdown should show options upon every click.

What went wrong?
i have a select dropdown in my application but somehow on chrome it displays white screen (area where options should appear) at times. 

Have attached some sample screenshot

Did this work before? Yes It was fixed before check this bug https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=664

Thanks for the report.

Not able to reproduce the issue on Win7, Ubuntu 14.04 using Chrome Stable 52.0.2743.116, Beta 53.0.2785.70, Dev 54.0.2832.2 and Canary 54.0.2836.0

Could you please try with the above mentioned version of chrome and let us know if the issue still persists.

Tried with the attached html file.

HI There,

I checked this on windows 10 and windows 8 on chrome 52 and i am not
getting this issue.

However this issue is occurring for me on ubuntu 15.4 (64 bit) chrome Version
51.0.2704.79
