Monitor not supported error seen on ASUS Chromebox / Toshiba TV / HDMI when powering tv off (and on?) |
|
Issue descriptionDevice: ASUS Chromebox External Monitor: Toshiba TV Cable: HDMI Spun off from Issue 631182: "It's a funny error message considering my setup. I have the ASUS Chromebox connected to a Toshiba TV via HDMI with a resolution of 1280x720 with no problems. It's only when I power off the TV and then come back later do I see this new message: "Dear Monitor, it's not working out between us. (No supported resolution found.)" Of course, as the screen lights back up, everything works normally."

I cannot. All these issues 640004-640008 were transcribed from random one-off comments on Issue 271481 , where they didn't really belong. In each case, what I filed is all I have... none of them came from me. In this particular case, the original comment was added by a deleted user, so there's no one we can even follow up with. If the bug report itself doesn't have enough info to pursue a solution, feel free to "Won't fix". |
