FR: Chrome OS python test code in google3 code search is not indexed |
|||
Issue descriptionWhen doing Chrome on Chrome OS gardening I sometimes need to read the python code that implements tests. For example: https://cs.corp.google.com/chromeos_public/src/third_party/autotest/files/client/site_tests/login_CryptohomeIncognito/login_CryptohomeIncognito.py The python code for these tests is not indexed, which makes it much slower to explore the code. For example, I cannot click on test.test to see the superclass, and clicking on autotest_lib.client.bin gives me a file-not-found message, even though the autotest source is in google3.

This sounds like a FR for the CodeSearch team so I suggest you follow up with them. There's some contact methods listed on the FAQ page. If the CS team is open to working with us, and you need more help from infra, please let us know.
