Please add specific reproduction steps - what exactly are you trying to do and what errors/unexpected behaviour are you seeing?

Tentatively tagging this as an enterprise bug, this may be incorrect.

IIUC, Apple is replacing Workgroup Manager with Profile Manager and Chrome only supports the former but not the latter.

Over to Georges' team.
That is correct. We are trying to configure Chrome policies on MacOS. Most importantly we need to configure the ability for users to access the Chrome Web Store.

Making sure this is on Matt's radar
I am no expert in MacOS but from some digging around it seems you can still use Chrome's plist file as a custom payload in the Profile Manager.

Here is the official Apple documentation on Custom settings https://help.apple.com/profilemanager/mac/5.1.5/#/apd9ABBDBE7-E899-4EF8-A087-CC771AE6729A

There are some reports of this working for example here https://jamfnation.jamfsoftware.com/discussion.html?id=13947 see the posts from danhutchings for example (admittedly the thread is pretty mixed up)
