Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/46.0 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Load a page 2. Click a link 3. Press backspace What is the expected behavior? Go back What went wrong? It doesn't go back. A message pops up saying to press alt+backspace, but that doesn't work either. Did this work before? Yes As long as I can remember Chrome version: Version 52.0.2743.116 m Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.3 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0 I found a few other issues reporting this on Linux and Mac as well, but they didn't mention Windows.

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows-10 using chrome latest stable M52-52.0.2743.116. yless@ - Please press Alt+LeftArrow key to navigate back to the page instead of backspace key. For reference please take a look on bug 608016 . If issue still persists please let us know. Thanks!

Alt-left arrow (when a form field does not have focus) is the way to navigate back. There are extensions in the web store that restore backspace-as-back.

I can't comment on that issue, so I'll keep posting here. The issue still persists. I can use alt+left, but if I press backspace several times it doesn't work, and instead gives a popup saying to use alt+backspace. |
