Issue descriptionChrome Version:54.0.2832.0(Official Build)(64-bit) Revision 6c7eba987dc174e1522212efec1676619aa26a5a-refs/heads/master@{#412743} 32/64 Bit. OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.10.5, 10.11.4) Steps: 1. Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings 2. Click on drop down menu of 'Font size' and drag the scroll bar. Actual: Position of the drop down menu changes on dragging the scroll bar. Expected: Position of the drop down menu should not change, instead drop down menu should close. This is a non-regression issue seen from M-47. The same works fine in chrome://settings page.

The only way to prevent scrolling made through side scrollbars is to restore scrollTop/scrollLeft. The dropdown listens for scrolls on document.body, in your case the scroll happens into another scrollable node. I've filed an issue in regards to this: https://github.com/PolymerElements/iron-dropdown/issues/107

This is no longer happening after migrating to native <select>, see [1]. I am closing this as fixed. Regarding comment #4, there is already a bug about addressing weird action menus inside iron-lists at [2].
