Docs repeats "screen reader support enabled" endlessly

1. Open a Google doc
2. "Screen reader support enabled" is spoken endlessly.

What platform?
On Chrome OS, with either braille mode on or off, I can't reproduce this.

Chrome OS Dev channel, Asus Chromebook Flip.
Just tried it again and the message only repeated 3 times but  then speech
went away for about 30 seconds and then came back.
