Can you goto chrome://crashes and report any crashes?

When you said asleep do you mean the system rebooted and after reboot the browser offer to restore the tabs ?

Labels: Needs-Feedback
Please file a feedback report with Alt-Shift-i immediately after experiencing the problem, and then mention it here.

A few more questions:

- Is the laptop sitting on top of another laptop or something else containing a magnet that could trigger its lid switch? I've seen similar symptoms due to this before.

- Does it wake up immediately if you hit a key?
I am also experiencing this on my Acer R11. The next time it happens, I will file a feedback report. When it happens, I typically have to press the mouse pad a few times to wake it back up.

It does not "reboot" - the screen simply goes black. Pressing the mousepad a few times brings the screen back. Sometimes, the chrome tabs have crashed and you have the option to restore. Other times, things are the way they were.

Version: 54.0.2840.51 beta (64-bit)
Platform: 8743.57.0
ARC: 3327608
Firmware: Google_Cyan.7287.57.82

It started about 2-3 weeks ago.

@C#4 There's another bug that might match what you describe even more closely than this one: Issue #652110 .

Agreed that #4 sounds like issue 652110 .

I'm going to close this Pixel issue since there aren't enough details to investigate further, but happy to reopen if that changes.
