webpages appear garbled and have random black rectangles

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.9; rv:47.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/47.0

Example URL:
it is random.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open Chrome
2. restore the tabs I had open previously

What is the expected behavior?
black rectangles and garbled displayed websites

What went wrong?
the onformation on the websites is garbled and has these random black rectangles covering the 99% of the websites I visit , making it impossible to work in this browser

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? Yes 

Chrome version: Version 52.0.2743.116 (64-bit)  Channel: n/a
OS Version: OS X 10.9
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Can you please attach a screen capture of the issue? The one you attached has file size 0; perhaps it didn't save correctly?

Also please attach output from: chrome://gpu/

10.9 black boxes in 52 sounds like  issue 632178 , fixed in 52 respin.
