rapciewicz@ I could not reproduce this issue on oak with same build you use. Can you check Adobe Flash Player under about://plugins is enabled? Thanks. The above build is only for oak, elm, cave, samus and cyan, may I know which device you see the issue?

I've encountered the issue with and without being labeled. The device is Samus.

I tried it on samus and playback video on the websites, did not see issue.

Just tried it again. Issue is persistent. Disabled flash plugin, and videos will not play. When enabled, receiving the error (shockwave flash) isn't responding.

Last report is https://feedback.corp.google.com/product/208/neutron?lView=rd&lRSort=1&lROrder=2&lRFilter=1&lReportSearch=samus&lReport=17169084072 This and a previous report both attempt to watch (normally serving) html5 videos. I assume you have an extension installed to force Flash on Youtube? What is the name (check in about:extensions if you don't recall).

I don't actually - and that's where I think it's odd that shockwave is crashing. I don't always see that Shockwave explicitly crashed, it depends on the site. For YouTube, the video never loads, on Facebook, shockwave will crash. It's possible I was seeing that shockwave was crashing from the other tab, and not from YouTube previously. Sometimes on Facebook it's just the "Page Unresponsive" notification that comes down and asks to kill the page. The second report is after I had rebooted - there was an update pushed out that I (not thinking) clicked on as reflex. Version 54.0.2830.0 dev (64-bit) Platform 8714.1.0 (Official Build) dev-channel samus ARC Version 3152188 Firmware Google_Samus.6300.174.0 I confirmed that it wasn't an interaction with any extensions - I've disabled every extension except App Runtime for Chrome (Beta) 54.5021.622.0, as it doesn't allow it to be unchecked. Realizing this may be an extended issue beyond Flash. I managed to get Droid-Life to crash - I'm not seeing the error for Flash crashing on YouTube or Facebook anymore. See attached screenshot for Droid-Life. It's almost instantaneous. selecting to kill the plugin also closes any Facebook page that's trying to play video, leading me to think it's still related to flash on Facebook.

I installed ToT build 8755/55.0.2844.0/23.0.0.141-r1 on Samus and enabled ARC version 3231949. I could not reproduce the issue. I checked the initial feedback log once more. There isn't much Flash activity, only [1809:1926:0817/223017:VERBOSE2:ppapi_plugin_process_host.cc(492)] ppapi plugin process launched. [1809:1926:0817/223057:VERBOSE1:ppapi_plugin_process_host.cc(528)] PpapiPluginProcessHost[broker]<IPv6: 2>OnChannelError() I think that means ppapi (most likely Flash) was kicked off, but not really launched. It died, but interestingly it was the broker which died. This is strange, as the broker is only really needed for protected content/DRM (and not used much on Chrome OS). I don't have insights what Flash DRM does. It sometimes gets into a bad state. Can you try to go in "Settings -> Clear browsing data -> Media licenses" and clear those? Alternatively does this problem happen for you in guest mode/incognito? If not it also could point to extensions/Flash DRM (as those are disabled in guest mode).
