Navigate back with backspace

Reported by ziga.cer...@gmail.com, Aug 14 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open new chrome tab / window
2. go to any website
3. go back using backspace key

What is the expected behavior?
go back to previous page

What went wrong?
didn't go back to previous page

Did this work before? Yes in previous version of chrome

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

make it back to backspace only this time add one if clause: if there is a form on page -> ask (prompt) if the user really wants to go back to previous page.

Better if clause: if there is a form on current page and no input field is selected -> ask if user wants to go back to previous page

Don't tell me I'm just depressed human randomly ranting about things because I'm not. I gave you a solution, you just need to implement it.

Thank you!
I fear, nothing will happen. They merge all the issues into the same one, that was set to state Wontfix.
The most insulting thing is that they turned off comments on the merged issue, and then a chromium member mentioned that "FWIW not all stars are angry about the change", as if we could tell how many that was, since we can't comment on it.
I'm surprised that they didn't let the users know that this change is going to happen. Or did they? If they did, obviously not good enough.

And that's why I'm going to insist that they do something about it ... at least the promise that next time they will appropriately inform all users about this kind of changes.
thanks ziga, lets give it a try.
bt, do you know why pdf siles simetimes oped, and sometimes not directly in chrome?
are there any special extentions needed for that?

Comment 9 Deleted

I think that it depends how pdf file is linked. I know that you can "force" the browser to download the file. So this is probably the cause that it downloads the file, not showing it directly in Chrome.

And I think there is no extention for that. Unfortunately.
