Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open Chrome 2. Go to web page A 3. Go to web page B in the same tab 4. Press Backspace key What is the expected behavior? Backspace key navigates back to previous page as it does in IE, Firefox, Safari, etc. What went wrong? Today the backspace key does not navigate backwards Did this work before? Yes 50.0 Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 The only way to navigate backward using the age old means via backspace key requires a chrome extension. Any extension injects potentially dangerous JavaScript. Requires ability to read javascript code to ensure extension is not malicious. Core browser navigation function shouldn't rely on potentially dangerous code. |
