The extensions error is unrelated to the initial report, correct?
That looks like you have a broken extension installed.

The computer description says "Touch Input Available with 20 Touch Points".
Since the OS thinks touch input is available, we should report true for 'ontouchstart' in window.

in previous version chrome was returned false.
are you think it's normal behavior?

IE on desktop doesn't support touch events, so it will always return false.

FF returns true in the cases I've tested.

Oh, Sandra has been adjusting this recently. Over to her.

I checked both Chrome 56.0.2924.21 (which before any of Sandra's changes) & FF on Surface. They behave similarly: both returns true.

This is not a regression so lowering the priority.

- Which version of Chrome works as you want?
- Which version of Chrome doesn't work as you want?
- What's the model of the laptop you are testing?
