Keyboard shortcuts not visible in menu on Ubuntu 16.04

Reported by roel.van...@gmail.com, Aug 11 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2824.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Install Google Chrome on Ubuntu Linux 16.04
2. Check "Use system title bar and borders"
3. Open a menu, e.g. "File"

What is the expected behavior?
Keyboard shortcuts (e.g. Ctrl-T, Ctrl-N) should be visible as right-aligned grey text in menus.

What went wrong?
Keyboard shortcuts (e.g. Ctrl-T, Ctrl-N) are not shown.

Did this work before? Yes On Ubuntu 14.04, the shortcuts are visible.

Chrome version: 54.0.2824.0 Channel: dev
OS Version: Ubuntu Linux 16.04
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Other apps on the same OS show shortcuts as expected, e.g. gedit and Terminal.

This affects other apps based on Chromium, e.g. Electron-based apps such as Atom and VS Code.

This would appear to be a Unity bug: fixed in Ubuntu 16.10 release candidate. The bug also affected Firefox, and that is fixed in the Ubuntu 16.10 RC as well.
