Compact layout digital never can not be inputted with non-touch screen device

REPRO STEPS:
1.Switch to any VK compact layout; e.g. US
2.Long press mouse left key on the first line key ,not release it 


ACTUAL RESULTS:
No any response , refers to screenshot

Expected:
Maybe should pop up float window for digital

For speedy device, long pressing mouse key can not pop up floating window

Virtual keyboard other than a11y keyboard is designed for touch screen.

It's intend behavior.
