I cannot repro this on 54.0.2832.2 canary (64-bit). I tried various cases: - US keyboard, focus omnibox, switch to Pinyin IME. - US keyboard, focus web input field, switch to Pinyin IME. - Pinyin IME, focus omnibox. - Pinyin IME, focus web input field. - Tried to set Chrome locale to both English (US) and Chinese Simplified.

What system language is configured on your Windows machine? If it is none of "Chinese", "Japanese" and "Korean", then this could be a duplicate of Issue 344834 .
