'Sub-page search bubble' is not seen if browser window is resized.

Chrome Version:54.0.2825.0 (Official Build) 3d58aef05951368778eda5aa835969a8f04bf285-refs/heads/master@{#410913}
OS: Mac (10.10.5, 10.11.5), Windows (7,8,10),Linux(14.04 LTS)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings/
2. Click on 'Search' field and type 'search' within search field.
3. Resize the browser window and observe 'sub-page search bubble'

Actual: 'Sub-page search bubble' is not seen after step 3.
Expected: 'Sub-page search bubble' should be seen.

This is non regression issue,this is new feature introduce in (54.0.2821.0)

This is a known issue mentioned at  crbug.com/633657 . Waiting for UX to come up with a solution.
