chrome crashes after changing external display from mirroring to extend display

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) plug an external monitor
(2) change to mirror
(3) change back to extend and it is crashing

What is the expected result?
be able to switch from mirror to extend
What happens instead?
crash

I did this several times on samus and could not reproduce this.

We should confirm on other devices, but it is unlikely that this is related to the Settings UI itself; changing label.
