Version of Google Chrome (Wrench-> About Google Chrome):52.0.2743.82 on OS MAC OS X El Capitan 10.11.64
Printer: TOSHIBA e-STUDIO4540C (not Cloud Print, this is a network connected printer)

Issue when printing Google Docs files with Arial font on Google Drive, on Chrome browser.
Customer is seeing boxes on the first character of each word:

[Expected Behavior]
Being able to print Google Docs file containing Arial font style properly.

[Actual Behavior]

Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the issue.
1. Access Google Drive and open a Google Doc file.

3. Click on the "Print" icon.

@soushi: Could you please ask the customer to provide the sample Doc Sheet where he is encountering this issue, which would help us in triaging it further.

Thank you.
rnimmagadda@

Thanks for the investigation. I have attached the sample Doc customer provided when they are encountering the issue (comment #1).
It's not direct link since 1) This thread is not restricted for googlers. 2) The owner of sample doc is the customer.

To view the sample doc, please follow these steps:
1. Click the link below.
https://drive.google.com/a/google.com/file/d/0B8hJbBKk0-c4Y19MSlhiNHpiaG8/view?usp=sharing

2. You will see the direct link for the sample doc. Please navigate to that url in incognito mode.

Unfortunately, I couldn't reproduce the issue even though using the sample doc.
My environment is almost same as the customer's one.
- Chrome browser: Version 52.0.2743.116 (64-bit)
- OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 (15G31)

In that case, which kinds of logs should the customer collect?
If you need additional logs from the customer, please feel free to let me know. I'll ask it to the customer.

Thanks!
Soushi

Comment 9 by kotah@chromium.org, Aug 17 2016

soushi@, can you check with customer if the font they see issue with is Helvetica Neue? If it is, then this is dup of crbug.com/622732.
Thanks Kota for the information. I'm asking that to the customer. As soon as I get reply, I'll report it on this thread.

Actually I dup'ed crbug.com/622732 to crbug.com/625995 so 625995 is the bug to be merged into once it's confirmed.
