Extensions not working on chromium, but they work on google chrome

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2716.0 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: I tried installing several extensions that i can confirm work fine on google chrome (installed through tamper monkey), but when trying to install them on chromium without tamper monkey, they do not work at all. I can see the extensions in chromium and they are enabled, but they dont work...no error messages, and the console is blank. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? I have attached one of the scripts here. When you go to https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showforum=77, you are supposed to see a search bar appear at the top, and it works on google chrome + tamper monkey, but it doesn't work on chromium when installed as a normal extension (without tamper monkey) WebStore page: N/A Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 52.0.2716.0 Channel: n/a OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version:

Could you please help us with a screencast of the reported issue as i am unable to locate the search bar after attaching the extension on chrome. Thanks.!

I attached a screenshot. Did you install it via tamper monkey on chrome? Not sure if related but when i started up chromium, i got a popup saying that google api keys were missing and some functionality will be disabled, but the popup vanished really quickly.
