Backspace navigatonal functionality suddenly changed

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open a webpage 2. Click a link 3. Press Backspace 4. Nothing happens What is the expected behavior? Backspace should navigate back as always before, and as in other browsers What went wrong? Page navigation is not working as expected. Did this work before? Yes always before ver 52. Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.3 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 Give us back this functionality, or let us choose between working behaviour (i.e checkbox in settings).

The way google handling this problem is a nonsense. Why do you merge all the reports to an issue with a status wontfix? You have to fix that problem, if you don't want to loose a large part of your desktop users.
