Farsi keyboard is incorrect (shows English layout instead)

Issue descriptionChromium OS version 52.0.2743.110 (64-bit, x86_64) developer build, cyan board Steps To Reproduce: (1) log in as guest (2) configure the input methods (3) choose farsi Expected Result: - typing on the keyboard should show arabic letters - virtual keyboard should show a farsi layout Actual Result: - typing on the keyboard shows a qwerty layout (while my primary layout is french, azerty) - virtual keyboard shows a qwerty layout How frequently does this problem reproduce? Always What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? Can't write farsi, no workaround known.

By Farsi keyboard, do you mean Persian? Tried on M53: When selecting the Persian input method, I do not see QWERTY on the virtual keyboard. The Transliteration keyboard does show QWERTY, but typing on it and pressing space will convert text to Persian (as expected).

I am no longer using chromiumos, The problem appeared only in chromiumos and not in chromeos. |
