Regression: Hide this plugin icon is not displayed in plugin block overlay.

Chrome Version:54.0.2822.0 (Official Build)Revision 24d693ff3d450c5436fb01fce592e711e794ace0-refs/heads/master@{#410267} (32/64-bit)
OS:Windows (7,8,8.1,10)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://settings/content , click on "let me choose when to run.." option under Plugin section.
(2)Navigate to http://www.vudu.com/ click on any video and observe


Actual: Hide this plugin icon (i.e X icon) is not displayed in plugin block overlay.

Expected: Hide this plugin icon  (i.e X icon) should be displayed in plugin block overlay.

This is a regression issue broken in 'M54' and will soon update other info.

(Closing as WontFix for book-keeping purposes, but I'm happy to keep the discussion going.)

This is working as intended following the placeholder UI refresh described in  issue 626107 .

Can you describe why the 'x'-to-close behavior is important?

Note, you can still right-click the placeholder and choose to hide it from the menu.
