I sent feedback this afternoon about 4pm EDT, then went to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager08.html In the Protected Content Playback Settings panel > reset license files > shutdown and restarted. Seems to have fixed the issue. Version 52.0.2743.116 (64-bit) Platform 8350.68.0 (Official Build) stable-channel auron_yuna Firmware Google_Auron_yuna.6301.59.8

Resetting license doesn't fix the crash for me. dymphep@ did you sign out and sign in on the site as well?

I don't think so. I remember having to sign in on both chromebooks once and checked the remember me or something to that effect. I now can't find sign in or sign out on the website. I only had the flash crashed on Acer 15 Version 52.0.2743.116 (64-bit) Platform 8350.68.0 (Official Build) stable-channel auron_yuna Firmware Google_Auron_yuna.6301.59.8 The Asus Flip has been crash free, however now using the (better) Android app. Version 53.0.2785.47 beta Platform 8530.43.0 (Official Build) beta-channel veyron_minnie ARC Version 3117197 Firmware Google_Veyron_Minnie.6588.197.0

I believe it's only the gold zone website. http://stream.nbcolympics.com/gold-zone-day-3 Without restoring or doing anything else from the above crash page, went to 2 different live streams with any problems. http://stream.nbcolympics.com/fencing-blue-womens-individual-sabre-rounds-quarterfinals?chrcontext=citi http://stream.nbcolympics.com/mens-water-polo-preliminary-round-match-9

Crash sites seem to be the corresponding cable tv channels that have a question mark here http://www.nbcolympics.com/tv-listings. See screenshot http://stream.nbcolympics.com/nbcsn-day-3 http://stream.nbcolympics.com/bravo-day-3 http://stream.nbcolympics.com/usa-day-3 No crash, no question mark http://stream.nbcolympics.com/nbc-day-3-daytime-et-ct

For me all channels are with a question mark so all of them are crashing. Is http://stream.nbcolympics.com/nbc-day-3-daytime-et-ct streaming live? If not, it won't crash.

reproduce on M-54. Is the issue related to 600585?
,

Looks like NBC fixed something at their end and the crash is no longer reproducible.

Not so for me. http://stream.nbcolympics.com/nbcsn-day-4

If I select a particular live event or sport, it works for me. But selecting a live TV (from right side), Flash crashes.

Adobe is discussing a fix for this, it was a sandbox issue. But it is not clear when we will get the update and how to test.

Why is this issue being tagged as "wont be fixed". I am also seeing this issue with regular stream on nbcsports. Here is the link to the issue I filed: https://groups.google.com/a/googleproductforums.com/d/msgid/chromebook-central/780d31bc-d521-40b9-9a1b-d94cba90adb7%40googleproductforums.com.

Seems to be a recent regression as per the group discussion. Vin/Joseph, could you follow up this regression using a new crbug?
