Just checking in 1 month later to add that this bug is still present. I've tried turning off various extensions, but that hasn't solved the issue. Rebooting doesn't solve it either.

Hi ryanphjohnson@, thank you for the report. Sorry about replying so late, it's good that you reminded me. I was not able to reproduce this bug on a Chromebook daisy running 52.0.2743.85, even after trying all the possible display resolutions. We've had a similar issue happen relatively recently, that affected 52, but should be fixed on 53. Could you please let me know: - Was this working on Chrome 51? - Is the behavior correct on native resolution (2560x1700)? - Does this bug occur on all display resolutions? (you can go to settings > display settings to change them) If this only happens on non-native resolutions, it's likely that this is a duplicate bug that will be fixed when M53 is released.

Wow, I never messed with the display settings before. I was set to 1280x850 (Best). Switching it to 2560x1700 (Native) fixed the issue. Thanks for the help!
