Input field selection is broken |
||||||||||||||||||||||||
Issue descriptionChrome 54.0.2816.4 OSX 10.11.6 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Enter something long in the omnibox to search: "Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible, without surrender, be on good terms with all persons." (2) Click on the search box of Google search and drag the cursor to the right to get to the end of the input. (3) Try to to any kind of reasonable text selection. What is the expected output? I can easily select the range I want. What do you see instead? The text is clipped and the selection jumps all over the place. This is a regression from stable.
