Regression: Faces of cube are seen missing in 3d cube experiment

Issue description

Version: 54.0.2820.0
OS: Ubuntu 14.04, Windows, Chrome OS

Test URL: http://www.sonja-vieten.de/sketches/CSS3/3d-transforms/3D-QR-code.html

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch chrome and go to above url and observe 3d-cube

Expected: All the 6 faces of cube should be seen.
Actual: Instead only one face is seen.

This is a regression issue broken in M53. Will provide bisect info soon.

Good Build: 53.0.2774.0 dev
Bad Build: 53.0.2776.0 dev

Issue is also seen in CrOS with 54.0.2817.0/8673.0.0 dev channel peppy

Able to reproduce the issue on Mac 10.11.6 using chrome version 54.0.2820.0.
adding stable blocker as this is regressed in M53.Please feel free to remove if not required.

Working as intended. The interaction between opacity and 3D transform wasn't specified in old spec. The latest editor's draft decided that opacity should force transform-style:flat, and the world is moving towards that direction.

To fix this particular demo, you may move opacity animation from element "quader" to individual planes, using css selector "#quader div" for example.
