Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.116 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Install Chromium on debian testing 2. >...(customize and control)>cast searches for devices 3. No devices found 4. Navigate to chrome://flags/#media-router> DISABLE 5. Found Nvidia shield What is the expected behavior? 1. Install Chromium on debian testing 2. >...(customize and control)>cast searches for devices 4. Found Nvidia shield What went wrong? Not sure but I don't believe this cast behavior is correct with media-router. I took 2 screenshots notice the top left hand corner and the error messages or lack there of... Did this work before? Yes Before the cast media router was implemented Chrome version: 52.0.2743.116 Channel: stable OS Version: Debian Testing Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0

s0m3f00l@ - to clarify, are you using official Chrome or Chromium? The behavior you're reporting is expected on the latter since Cast integration is only delivered with official Chrome.

While media router is enabled by default even for Chromium, the Cast provider is delivered as a component extension that's only delivered to branded Chrome. Sorry for the inconvenience. |
