Bug queue in particular is rather slow, so this would mean it could take >5 seconds to show that there's an error, which I think is bad. Made a bug with a suggestion on how to make it faster.

With the caching change committed, the user-visible problem (timeouts) should mostly be solved. This can be a follow-up.

This issue has been Available for over a year. If it's no longer important or seems unlikely to be fixed, please consider closing it out. If it is important, please re-triage the issue.
