Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.82 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Publish an extension (v1) 2. Install v1 through web store 3. Develop an update (v2) For this, I usually get a copy of what Chrome downloads for this extension (manifest.json has a "key") and start from there 4. Install v2 locally by "Loading unpacked extension" Note that this nicely overrides v1, so you can test v2 using the same environment (settings, ...) you used in v1 5. Be happy with it, publish v2 6. Try to remove v2 locally to wait for update of v2 from webstore What is the expected behavior? Click "Unload extension" for v2 and return to previsouly installed v1 without losing any settings. What went wrong? There is no such button. I can only uninstall the extension, but then I lose all preferences. I can restart Chrome, which offers me to disable developer-mode extensions, but will disable v2 without unloading it and not reactivate v1. Removing v2 from my disk is another thing that I have tried, but it's good, either. WebStore page: Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 52.0.2743.82 Channel: stable OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 |
