Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_11_6) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.82 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Use SHIFT or COMMAND to select multiple tabs 2. Drag the tab group left or right to rearrange What is the expected behavior? The set of tabs should be draggable left or right in the current window. What went wrong? Only the dragged tab is moved (not the group). Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 52.0.2743.82 Channel: stable OS Version: OS X 10.11.6 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 This worked until the Material design integration in Chrome 52. Detaching the tab group to a new window works as expected.

Downloaded Canary to test and it doesn't work. I wrote some team help docs on it, but didn't note about moving within the same window, so maybe not. http://manuals.gravitydept.com/workspace/mac-apps/chrome Could've sworn it worked in the past though. It'd be nice to have on Mac if it works on other platforms, but no rush. I use detaching multiple tabs a lot more.

I did some more poking around and figured out why it worked for me yesterday. I happened to end my selection of tabs on the currently focused one. That seems to work in both Stable and Canary. If you don't end the selection on the focused tab, it just grabs the last-selected one (and drops the rest). I can't "slide" them around in the tab strip, but can pull the group down in Y into a new-window-zone and then move up in Y to release them back anywhere in their original window.

I am also able to drag multiple tabs out of a window - it's dragging them around in the tabstrip that's not working. |
