Mac: Can't copy and paste URL to Yahoo mail from Apple email

Tested the same on MacBook Pro(Retina) 10.11.5 chrome version 52.0.2743.82 and canary 54.0.2815.0 - Able to copy paste the URL in compose mail in gmail. Also able to see the context menu right clicking the mouse on a URL.

Could you please replicate the same on a new profile and see if the issue still exists. You can create a new profile from chrome://settings

I tried using a new profile as well as my old profile. It is now working when copying the link.  I am copying and pasting a link into my yahoo email within the APPLE email application, not Gmail.    I still get an abbreviated drop down menu, the one on the left, vs the longer drop down I used to get.

The copy/paste behavior appears to have fixed itself? Not sure exactly what happened.

This issue has been verified as fixed, and can be closed.
