Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.103 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. attempt to open browser 2. close and reattempt 3. attempt to open browser in cognito 4. Restarted PC and tried 1-3 again 5. checked extensions (none were on) 6. looked for haning processes in task manager What is the expected behavior? Chrome to open to my home page of Google What went wrong? Aw Snap message - repeatedly Crashed report ID: n/a How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 54.0.2811.0 Channel: n/a OS Version: 8.1 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 Chrome Canary was working fine yesterday 7-28-16, I noticed some kind of reference to an update or upgrade today 7-29-16

Unable to reproduce the issue on Windows 7, 8.1, Mac 10.11.5, Ubuntu 14.04 using 54.0.2811.0, latest canary 54.0.2813.0.Able to open chrome and browse it without any crash. carter.j.carter@Could you please check the issue by upgrading chrome to latest 54.0.2813.0 version and update the thread with crash ID from chrome://crashes if issue still persists.

Did upgrade to latest canary 54.0.2813.0. as suggested. once again able to open chrome and browse it without any crash. Thanks.
