New tab page showing graphics tiles from browser. |
||||||
Issue descriptionVersion: 52.0.2743.82 (Official Build) (64-bit) OS: Linux (Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS) I'm not sure what exactly caused it to get in this behavior. All I did was killall chrome (because it was running on a different DISPLAY) and then relaunched it. What is the expected output? Expect new tab page to look normal. What do you see instead? Instead, it is showing repeated copies of the top-left tile from the browser window. The tile is in fact live tile as when the window is focused the background changes color. It does seem to be drawing it with the red and blue channels flipped. Please use labels and text to provide additional information.

Sorry, agreed it's not GPU rasterization, but shouldn't this still be Internals>GPU as it seems to be an issue with the backing gpu textures? Also, I suspect this has the same root cause as issue 623074 as both of them happened to me this time starting my browser.

Closing under the assumption that this happened just once. Please reopen if you've seen this more than once.

Is this still happening? Unfortunately, we don't have a lot of bandwidth to look at Linux gpu issues. If this is still happening, we really need a solid repro case to get this fixed. |
