Also I would like to add that I know I can go to the extensions page through menu -> more tools -> extensions but it would seem a lot more user friendly if it's in the settings as well :-P

... how long do you wait until you give up on anything showing? And while you wait, do you see an error or red x if you go to the developer console? (Dev Console is Ctrl+Shift+I on Linux and Window).

The chrome://md-settings/siteSettings/plugins URL is no longer valid. I'm wondering if it just had a name change or whether the UI this bug is talking about has been removed.
