Inspect element opens when not prompted.

Chrome Version       : 49.0.2623.112
OS Version: 6.0 (Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008)
URLs (if applicable) : html://www.youtube.com
Other browsers tested:
  Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari 5:
  Firefox 4.x: FAIL
     IE 7/8/9:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Opening a new tab
2. Clicking the search bar on youtube
3.

What is the expected result?
For the inspect element to not open.

What happens instead of that?
Inspect element opens and at times glitches and cannot be closed.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Verified the issue on Latest Chrome Stable# 52.0.2743.82 and could not reproduce the issue.
@wgarrow -- Could you please re-check on latest stable mentioned and provide the update.

Thanks for the report wgarrow1707@.  It also looks like you have extensions installed.  Have you tried reproducing this without any extensions enabled?  Maybe in incognito mode?
