Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: 1. Log into Chrome on Android 2. Visit a page in some language 3. Decline the offer to translate the page 4. Visit another page in the language 5. Decline the offer again (Don't translate language again) 6. Login into a different device with the same account 7. Visit any page in the same language 8. Chrome asks again about translating What is the expected behavior? Chrome remembers this settings and syncs this with the account I am logged in and never asks me again after signing in on any device. What went wrong? Chrome didn't remember my page translation preference and asks me again after logging in. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 53.0.2785.21 Channel: dev OS Version: 6.0.1 Flash Version: General Sync option is turned on and works with all other Chrome data

shakeryamin@: Could you post screenshots of about:sync from both devices here?

Alright, here is the screenshot from the Nexus 6. I cannot access the other device at the moment but to be sure it's not its fault, this issue has happened also on this Nexus after wiping all partitions and installing Android again. Before wiping and after the installation it surely has had enough time to sync (about few weeks). Do you need info from other tabs as well? Excuse my censorship of the identifiers. Disclosing first few letters of the username to prove it's really mine.

Got it. Translate related preferences are not currently synced with mobile devices, only between desktop devices.

This is blocked on making preference sync generally available on mobile. Just going to merge into that bug, since we'll get this for free.

Can I somehow be granted at least read privileges to the issue #374865, please?
