Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8350.60.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.85 Safari/537.36 Platform: 8350.60.0 (Official Build) stable-channel link Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open an article on a website like www.theverge.com 2. either try to zoom the content of the article using a double tap on the paragraph using the trackpad 3. or try to zoom the content of the article using a double tap on the paragraph using the touchscreen What is the expected behavior? Chrome should zoom to that paragraph, as it does on Android, iOS and OS X so that the paragraph fills the screen. What went wrong? Nothing is happening when double-tapping. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 52.0.2743.85 Channel: stable OS Version: 8350.60.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 Chrome OS should behave the same as Chrome on other platforms in order to prevent new Chromebook owners from being confused.

It's of course more useful on mobile devices but it has been working as described on non-mobile versions of Chrome on OS X for at least a year, see: https://plus.google.com/+FrancoisBeaufort/posts/DxshcpWmjiE
