Extend 2 letter state abbreviation for autocomplete to Canadian provinces

have tested this issue:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Try using autocomplete with a saved address with a Canadian province on a form with a 2 char limit in the state field
What is the expected result?
Abbreviate the Canadian province to 2 letters (Quebec --> QC, Ontario --> ON)
What happens instead?
Nothing gets filled in
