This XML response crashes tab every time

Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.82 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Go to this URI or load the attached XML file: https://query.yahooapis.com/v1/public/yql?q=select%20*%20from%20html%20where%20url%3D%22http%3A%2F%2Fwww.target.com%2Fsr%3FsearchTerm%3Dlego%26resultsPerPage%3D1%22&diagnostics=true&debug=true What is the expected behavior? It should show the XML document. What went wrong? The tab crashes ("Aw, Snap!"). Crashed report ID: How much crashed? Just one tab Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 52.0.2743.82 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

This file causes stack overflow to render deeply nested tree (~500), I'm so sorry to say there is little we can do here.

The file renders fine in Firefox -- I wonder how they managed to deal with it. The XML has many levels, but not *that* many. |
