Regression: Blue focus line is not seen for 'Country' drop-down of sign-in overlay on second instance via tap/touch

Issue descriptionChrome Version: 53.0.2785.30 (Official Build) c9ac2ade38adec236e53faa2e6cdc4aff55a53ef-refs/branch-heads/2785@{#352}-32/64 bit OS: Windows 10 (Touch device) Steps: 1. Launch Chrome and click on 'Sign in to Chrome' from avtar icon. 2. Tap/touch on 'Find my account' from More options menu and then tap on 'Country' drop-down. 3. Now perform step 2 again and observe blue focus line for 'Country' drop-down. Actual: Glimpse of blue focus line is seen for 'Country' drop-down on second instance via tap/touch i,e it does not stay. Expected: Blue focus line should not be seen for 'Country' drop-down on second instance via tap/touch i,e it should stay. This is regression issue broken in M-51, below is bisect info. Good build: 51.0.2671.0 Bad build: 51.0.2672.0 Narrow bisect: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+log/5241d81a41e319f8b1f4d9840cd8d1269b265788..9c64d516f6f9c9629391f940dc2d04608f770e06?pretty=fuller&n=100 Suspecting: r379986 ? Please help to re-assign if your change is not the cause for this issue. Note: This is touch device specific issue, same works fine via mouse click.

Tested this issue on chrome latest canary M56-56.0.2903.0 by following steps mentioned in the original comment. Observed no blue focus line while clicking on country drop down link. Marking it as wont fix, please feel free to reopen or raise a new issue if you come across the similar one on latest chrome version. Thanks! |
