Reported by karl.sch...@gmail.com, Jul 23 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.82 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open chrome
2. Go to any page
3. Go to a second page in same tab
4. Press backspace

What is the expected behavior?
Should go to previous tab

What went wrong?
Does not work.
Instead displays some weird message able ALT + (left arrow) that causes my screen layout to rotate.

Did this work before? Yes Couple weeks ago

Chrome version: 52.0.2743.82 Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

This is a serious issue and is highly impacting my ability to use and appreciate Chrome. Please Fix immediately.

I agree with this bug. If Chrome really cared about the usability of its application and had good UX it would have made this a preference the user could change. As a software developer myself I am mystified as to why this was not done in the first place.

Please fix this! Who wants to press a key combination when a single keypress can do the job?
i have been trying to deal with this... i know its not much, but it slows me down, having to conciously think and place BOTH my hands in teh right position. Meanwhile, the old way was more efficient and only required one finger to reach up and go back.
