Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS x86_64 8350.56.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/52.0.2743.76 Safari/537.36 Platform: 8350.56.0 (Official Build) beta-channel samus Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. On a Windows/Mac/PC, Navigate to a page and right click the tab and choose "Pin Tab" 2. Close out of Chrome 3. Restart Chrome > Observe Pinned tabs (as well as other "start on startup tabs") are launched 4. Perform the same tasks on ChromeOS. What is the expected behavior? If a Window is closed with a Pinned Tab, the next window to open will re-open with the Pinned Tabs as well. What went wrong? Pinned tabs do not persist through a close/open a Window cycle. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 52.0.2743.76 Channel: n/a OS Version: 8350.56.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 In it's current incarnation on ChromeOS, The only advantage that Pinned tabs offers is more real estate along the top of the browser. The added functionality which Windows/Linux/Mac gain from this feature is not presently available.

>> On Chrome OS pinning a tab does not persist on the close of a window. Note that pinned tabs do persist through restarting a Chrome OS device which is the analog of closing and reopening all the Chrome windows on other desktop platforms. So there is no effective difference if you consider that the pinned tabs are restored when the session is restored. |
