Text appears weird in "Jourmap Place Helper" extension

Version:Version:Chrome version : 54.0.2803.0 (Official Build) 74ed884d4d42cb7152dc75fae33351e8e34220cd-refs/heads/master@{#406716} (32/64 bit)
OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.10.5, 10.11.4)

Test URL:https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/jourmap-place-helper/fgdlodmiemjljmbcmfjkejioidbdaoed

Steps:
(1)Launch chrome,navigate to above url and click on 'Add to Chrome'.
(2)Click on extension icon, in Extensions overlay.
(3)Click near the "Windsor castle" text and observe.(Kindly refer the video)

Actual:Text appears weird i.e it appears to be overlapped.

Expected:Text should appear properly and not overlapped.

This is a Non-regression issue seen from M-33(i.e 33.0.1701.2)

The above issue is reproducible on latest canary chrome version : 54.0.2804.0.

Looks like a bug in the extension, not chrome.

Most likely a problem in the extension's code itself, not in chrome
