Back button behavior incorrect

From "Settings > About Chrome"
Application version:Chrome Dev 53.0.2785.21
OS:Android 6.0.1; GT-I9300 Build/MOB30R

Behavior in Android Browser (if applicable):



Steps to reproduce:
(1)Open a web page
(2)Click on URL bar
(3)Press back button on device

Expected result:
After the keyboard is hidden, should hide URL bar and unshadow web page

Actual result:
Returns to the previous page; URL bar still shown

Thanks for your report, we are unable to repro the issue. Can you provide bug report and video ( if possible) ?

As you can see in the video, it doesn't only return to the previous page (New Tab in this case), it also exits the app completely
