Newyorker article has high CPU usage

Reported by khym.cha...@gmail.com, Jul 21 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.106 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/donald-trump-threatens-the-ghostwriter-of-the-art-of-the-deal

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Go to the given URL

What is the expected behavior?
Page doesn't consume too much CPU after rendering finishes.

What went wrong?
Consumes lots of CPU.

Does it occur on multiple sites: No

Is it a problem with a plugin? No

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 51.0.2704.106 Channel: stable
OS Version: Fedora 24
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0

Also uses up a little over 1 gig worth of memory.

Sometimes high CPU usage is caused by infections. Don't forget to check your system to see if there are some. If you see things like Krazy Joystick Games, remove it: http://www.fastremovevirus.com/remove-ads-by-krazy-joystick-games.html
I should have been more specific: the page thread of the given URL has high CPU usage, as shown by Chrome's task manager window (Shift-Esc).
Components: UI>TaskManager
The problem is not in the task manager UI. The task manager merely showed me that the page was consuming a lot of CPU.
