Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/51.0.2704.106 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the PDF and click each bookmark which although links to a point in the page, only takes you to the top of the page 2. Try scrolling down the page a little and trying a bookmark - you will only ever be taken to the top of the page What is the expected behavior? Selecting a bookmark should take you to a point in the page not just to the top of the page. What went wrong? All bookmarks take you to the top of the page, even bookmarks at a certain point in the page such as half way down. Doing the same in FoxitReader and everything works correctly. Did this work before? No Chrome version: 51.0.2704.106 Channel: n/a OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 22.0 r0 I further noticed that the Material PDF Viewer does not respect the PDF setting to have all bookmarks expanded unlike FoxitReader which respects it.

Able to reproduce this on the latest stable(52.0.2743.116) and the latest beta(53.0.2785.34) on Windows-7, Mac OS 10.11.5 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04. This has been behaving the same since M-47, when material design PDF was implemented. Latest canary(54.0.2817.0) is opening the blank page when any pdf is opened due to Issue 633764 . Marking this Untriaged for more inputs on this.

Would you agree this is bug 367524 ? It sounds like you want the bookmark to take you to the exact position of the bookmark, not the top of the page the bookmark is on.

If this question is aimed at me, I would consider this a bug as bookmarks can be positioned anywhere on the page, not just at the top of the page.

Yes, the question is aimed at the bug reporter. |
