Chromium keep popping up onto my Windows 10 desktop when I never installed it. Whenever it opens, it opens the last page you were on, invading the PRIVACY for the people that use this computer. I don't like to use this program and would like to remove it but still keep Chrome.

Reported by motochi...@gmail.com, Jul 20 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version : <Copy from: 'about:version'>
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL, along with the version, after other browsers where you
have tested this issue:
     Safari: OK
    Firefox: OK
         IE: FAIL

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Removing Chromium, but keeping Chrome.
(2) Fix the bug that is causing Chromium to open without my knowledge.
(3) Test Chromium for malware or bugs at Google offices.

What is the expected result?
I expected Chromium to have been uninstalled from my desktop.

What happens instead?
The software downloads itself onto my computer and opens without my knowledge. When it opens, it is on the page that was last used by that browser and surfaces privacy issues.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
Chromium is pinned to my taskbar and I can't find a way to remove it from my Windows 10 computer. When I click the option to uninstall, my computer takes me to the Programs and Features section and Chromium isn't listed. I don't want to get rid of Google Chrome, but I would definitely like to get rid of Chromium.
