Bluetooth adapter name should only be updated on Chrome OS according to https://codereview.chromium.org/1810993002. Can you update to latest Stable and let me know if you can still reproduce this issue?

It appears that indeed the bug has been fixed. I am currently running Chrome 52 and I have renamed the bluetooth interface name and the other interfaces were able to recognize it using that name.

I'm glad it's working now properly. Closing this bug then. |
